Great Deku Tree: All 4 Gold Skulltula Locations

The Great Deku Tree has 4 Gold Skulltula tokens. This route collects them all in one trip, in the same order as the video, starting from the ground floor of the main room. Every step has a screenshot and a link to that exact moment in the video.

Skulltula 1: Past the raised platforms

On a rock wall, on a ledge to the left of the raised platforms

  1. Start on the ground floor of the main room. Run around the left side of the central hole to the vine wall, then climb to the top.

  2. Follow the wooden ledges to the second vine wall, which has a treasure chest beside it. Climb it to reach the next level.

  3. Head for the stone doorway at the end of the path and go through.

  4. Inside, jump onto the stone switch on the floor to your right. Pressing it raises the platforms ahead.

  5. Hop across the raised stone platforms. You don't need the chest on the far side for this route.

  6. From the second platform, look left for a gold glow on the rock wall. Jump across to that ledge and run to the token.

  7. Collect the token. That's 1 of 4.

Skulltula 2: Vines in the flooded basement

On the big vine wall rising out of the water at the bottom of the central hole

  1. Cross back over the platforms and leave through the stone door you came in by.

  2. Follow the walkway until it opens onto the central hole, then jump off the edge and drop down it.

  3. You'll land in the water at the bottom. Swim to the large wall of vines.

  4. Climb up the vines. The token is partway up, so keep climbing until you reach it. That's 2 of 4.

Skulltula 3: On the bars

On the barred gate in the basement, past the torch

  1. Drop off the vines into the water, swim to the ledge on the right and climb out.

  2. Cross the ledge, jump back into the water and swim toward the torch and carved stone block. Climb onto the low rock ledge between them. You should now see a gold glow on the bars ahead.

  3. Hop onto the round stump in the water in front of the bars.

  4. Jump from the stump toward the bars to grab the token. That's 3 of 4.

Skulltula 4: Beyond the crawl space

High on a small patch of vines, in the room past the crawl space

  1. You'll drop into the water after the last token. Swim back to the carved stone block, climb on top of it, then pull yourself up onto the high ledge.

  2. Run along the ledge past the webbed floor.

  3. At the far end, look for a low opening framed by stones in the rock wall. Crawl through it and follow the tunnel to the next room.

  4. Cross the stream, climb the rubble slope and pass the torch. Keep right and go through the archway, where you'll see vines on the far side.

  5. The token glows near the top of the vine patch. Climb up to it.

  6. Grab the token to finish the set. That's 4 of 4.
